How HIFU Works

HIFU uses ultrasound waves focused to a precise micro-focal point beneath the skin surface. At the focal point, energy density is high enough to create a localized thermal coagulation zone (65–70°C) that denatures collagen fibers and initiates a wound-healing response. The tissue above and below the focal point receives no thermal damage — the energy converges only at the intended depth.

The wound-healing response at each coagulation point generates new collagen type I and III over the following 2–6 months, progressively firming and lifting the treated tissue as the new collagen matrix contracts and matures. A single treatment session produces results that continue developing for up to 6 months and can persist for 12–18 months with appropriate client maintenance.
