Three-Phase Cooling Protocol
Pre-cooling: Directed cold air reduces baseline skin surface temperature before treatment begins, increasing the thermal tolerance of the epidermis and providing immediate numbness that reduces client anxiety and pre-treatment discomfort.
Intra-treatment cooling: Continuous cold air during energy delivery creates a thermal buffer at the skin surface, allowing the practitioner to deliver higher fluences, longer pulse durations, or denser treatment patterns while maintaining epidermal safety margins.
